4/9 Ice Ribbon Results

Ice Ribbon ran their usual Saturday event today, results from the Ice Ribbon School:
They claimed 115 paid (overflow).
Tsukasa Fujimoto & Chii Tomiya beat Meare Naito & Neko Nitta in 5:57. Fujimoto pinned Nitta.

Kurumi beat Miyako Matsumoto in 5:40.

Tsukushi & Riho beat Makoto & Mochi Miyagi in 7:57. Tsukushi pinned Miyagi.

International Ribbon Tag Team Champions Emi Sakura & Ray beat Lee Yoneyamakao & Hikari Minami in 15:08 to retain the titles. Sakura pinned Yoneyamakao with La Magistral. V1 for the champs.

After the main event and some in-ring bantering between Emi Sakura, Riho & Tsukasa Fujimoto it was determined that the next challenger for Fujimoto’s ICEx60 Singles Title will be Tsukushi. That will be the main event of GOLDEN RIBBON 2011 on 5/5 at Korakuen, although at first it seemed like the original plan was to have that match next week. There could be an International Ribbon match on 4/16 in Osaka though, more on that as it becomes available. (Update: No title match next week. Next title match is 5/5, determination match for title shot on 4/16-Riho & Hikari Minami vs. Hikaru Shida & Syuri)

If you haven’t noticed yet, the promotion also officially added Ray to the “fighter/wrestler” section of their website.

Ther also will be a Riho & Hikari Minami Produced event on 4/24, first match for that is Riho vs. Tsukushi.

Update 2: Corrections to above as evidently Ringstars got it wrong. There IS an International Ribbon title match next week, Sakura & Ray defend against Riho & Tsukushi. There IS NOT a determination match scheduled, but Shida & Syuri now face Minami & Yoneyamakao.
