Ice Ribbon ran their 2nd annual Golden Week spectacular event today which also marks the first anniversary of their first Korakuen event. Results from GOLDEN RIBBON 2011 at Korakuen:
They claimed 749 paid.
Go! Go! Golden Mixed Tag Tournament:
Aika Ando & Yoshiaki Yago vs. Riho & Kikutaro went to a 5 minute time limit draw. Per tiebreaker rules, which meant a game of rock-paper-scissors, Yago beat Riho.
Neko Nitta & Makoto Oishi beat Ken Ohka & Hikari Minami in 2:18. Oishi pinned Minami.
Kurumi & Shigehiro Irie (DDT) vs. Tamako & Onryo (Independent/Freelancer) went to a 5 miunte time limit draw. in tiebreaker, Irie beat Tamako.
Makoto & Munenori Sawa beat Meare Naito & THE101 (Independent/Freelancer) in 3:32. Makoto pinned Naito.
Semifinals: Neko Nitta & Makoto Oishi vs. Aika Ando & Yoshiaki Yago went to a 5 minute time limit draw. In tiebreaker, Oishi beat Yago.
Makoto & Munenori Sawa beat Kurumi & Shigehiro Irie in 2:43. Sawa pinned Irie.
Finals: Neko Nitta & Makoto Oishi beat Makoto & Munenori Sawa in 8:26 to win the tournament. Nitta pinned Makoto.

Maki Narumiya & Miyako Matsumoto beat Hamuko Hoshi & Mochi Miyagi in 5:41. Narumiya pinned Hoshi.

JWP Jr. Champion & POP Champion Kagetu (Sendai Girls) beat Chii Tomiya in 9:32 to retain the titles. V2 for Kagetu.

International Ribbon Tag Team Champions Emi Sakura & Ray beat Hikaru Shida & Syuri (SMASH) in 17:26 to retain the titles. Sakura pinned Shida with La Magistral. V3 for the champs.

ICEx60 Singles Champion Tsukasa Fujimoto beat Tsukushi in 13:40 to retain the title. V3 for Fujimoto.

Back to regular schedule starting Saturday. Next Korakuen will likely be sometime in August.
