New Japan began it’s first US tour last night to much fanfare and buildup, and based on the promotion’s detailed report it did not disappoint. Results from Rahway, NJ:
They claimed 1800 paid (sellout). And reports are there was a massive line to get in well before opening time.
Low-Ki & Homicide beat Jushin Liger & Tiger Mask 4 in 10:41. Ki pinned TM 4 after Ki Crusher.

Satoshi Kojima beat Kenny Omega in 9:29.

Ryusuke Taguchi, Prince Devitt, Giant Bernard & Karl Anderson beat Shinsuke Nakamura, Davey Richards, Jado & Gedo in 13 minutes. Devitt pinned Gedo after Bloody Sunday.

IWGP Intercontinental Title Tournament:
Yujiro Takahashi beat Hideo Saito (Mitsuhide Hirasawa) in 8:28.
Tetsuya Naito beat Josh Daniels in 12:28. Daniels was a late replacement for Tama Tonga (injured).
Toru Yano beat Dan Maff in 10:38.
MVP beat Kazuchika Okada in 12:45.

Rhino & Charlie Haas beat Hiroshi Tanahashi & Makabe in 16:02. Rhino pinned Makabe.

UPDATE: There are now reports that despite the claiming 1800 paid as attendance, the actual crowd was 587. Also, some of the show will likely air in Japan on TV or DVD at some point.
