5/15 NOAH Results

NOAH wrapped up it’s weekend series in Europe yesterday, results from the co-produced event with wXw in Oberhausen, Germany:
They claimed 500 paid (overflow).
Ax Man beat Satoshi Kajiwara in 9:13.

Zack Saber Jr. beat Taiji Ishimori in 9:51.

wXw World Heavyweight Champion Big Van Walter beat Shuhei Taniguchi in 11:52 to retain the title.

Katsuhiko Nakajima beat Ricky Marvin in 11:32.

Go Shiozaki beat Bad Bones in 22:02.

KENTA beat Chris Hero in 22:20.

GHC Heavyweight Champion Takashi Sugiura beat Claudio Castagnoli in 21:42 to retain the title. V14(!) for Sugiura…it’s a new record! With 3 successful defenses in 3 days, Sugiura has now broken Kenta Kobashi’s 6-year-old record for most successful defenses in a single reign. But he still has a ways to go to Kobashi’s other record-longest reign (2 years, 3 days). Sugiura would need to hold the title until December 10 to break that mark (Kobashi had a leap year during his reign so he’s got an extra day in the bank).

Results from the other participation in England:
They claimed 450 paid (sellout).
Kotaro Suzuki beat ? in 18:15.

Atsushi Aoki beat ? in 14:59.

? beat Takeshi Morishima & Dave Mastiff in a 3-way elimination match in 11:58. Morishima was eliminated by Mastiff at 6:11.

They are now on their way back to Japan. Next event is Saturday at Twin Messe Shizuoka.
