Joshi News: Another New Promotion Coming Soon?

Following up on the story of Miyako Matsumoto being forced to leave Ice Ribbon after losing a title match against Tsukasa Fujimoto today, it looks like Miyako is hitting the ground running. According to a loose translation of the newest post on her official blog (ameblo.jp/matsumoto-miyako), she apparently is going to launch her own promotion. Most of the details are still secret or being worked out (and I can’t quite get the name of the promotion from my translations). For now it sounds like she’ll be using her blog & Twitter (she’s MatsumotoMiyako on Twitter; She’s also on Facebook, link on her blog) to announce further details, which I’ll try and keep an eye out for. But I’ll say this much: If Jun Kasai isn’t somehow involved including a wrestling appearance at the very least, I’ll be genuinely shocked! Nonetheless, best of luck to Miyako with this new promotion and hopefully it works out well.

Over the edge, and straight into awesome, I hope.

It is called “Gakenohuchi Puroresu” (Gakenohuchi means “on the edge of the cliff”).

IMO I think if in english it would be something like “over the edge pro wrestling”.
