5/29 & 5/30 Dragon Gate Results

Dragon Gate wrapped up their current tour earlier in the week, results from Sunday & Monday:
Sunday at Okayama Sanjo Heights:
They claimed 620 paid (sellout).
Ryo Saito & Tomahawk T.T. beat Shingo Takagi & Susumu Yokosuka in 15:31. Saito pinned Yokosuka after Vital Part Attack. DG also posted a small picture of T.T. for the first time, he sports mostly blue face paint with streaks of red and what looks to be a blue glove or blue paint on one or both hands. Part of me still thinks he’s Takuya Tomakomai with a new gimmick but DG hasn’t posted a profile yet to confirm.

Gamma beat Syachihoko Machine in 5:47.

YAMATO beat Naoki Tanisaki in 10:53.

CIMA & Cyber Kong beat KAGETORA & BxB Hulk in 16:39. Kong pinned KAGETORA after a diving elbow drop.

Masaaki Mochizuki, Masato Yoshino & Dragon Kid beat Naruki Doi, Yasushi Kanda & Genki Horiguchi in 15:50. Mochizuki pinned Horiguchi after Shin Saikyo High Kick.

Monday from NEX 77 at DG Arena:
They claimed 100 paid.
Yousuke Watanabe Debut Match: Super Shisa beat Yousuke Watanabe in 5:07.

KAGETORA beat ? in 4:49. The unkown wrestler, last name is Kobayashi but not sure of the full first name (translation left some kanji I can’t figure out, the name ends in “ta”), was another wrestler making his debut.

Syachihoko Machine beat Hollywood Stalker Ichikawa in 7:40.

Cyber Kong & Tomahawk T.T. beat Kotoka & Super SHenlong in 9:01. T.T. pinned Kotoka.

They’re now on a week-long break while the DGUSA talent heads to the US for this weekend’s events. Next tour begins 6/8 at Korakuen. It’s expected that Ricochet will return to DG for the next tour while Rich Swann is also reported to be Japan-bound after this weekend as well.

That’s what I had been thinking all along, mainly because of the T.T. in his name and the fact that Tomakomai hadn’t been working any recent events prior to T.T. debuting. Thanks for the confirmation.

Tomahawk is Takuya Tomakomai. His renaming was actually announced at a show after a match. The next time he showed up, he had the new look.
