7/27 Ice RIbbon Results

Ice Ribbon ran their usual Wednesday event today, results from the Ice Ribbon School:
They claimed 98 paid.
In an elimination match, Kaori Yoneyama, Hamuko Hoshi & Mochi Miyagi beat Hikaru Shida, Maki Narumiya & Dorami Nagano in 17:11. Order of elimination: Narumiya by Yoneyama at 4:09, Shida by Hoshi via OTR at 7:32, Nagano by Hoshi at 17:11. Clean sweep.

Makoto vs. April Davids went to a 10 minute time limit draw.

Ray & Hikari Minami beat Command Bolshoi & Chii Tomiya in 10:29. Minami pinned Tomiya after Blockbuster.

ICEx60 Singles Champion Tsukasa Fujimoto beat Neko Nitta in 9:43 to retain the title. V6 for Fujimoto.

Fujimoto & Makoto are now headed to the US for this weekend’s CHIKARA events. I’ll pass along results when I have them-Saturday they’re on opposite sides in a 6 woman tag match (also featuring former joshi regular Mima Shimoda), Sunday they face off in a singles match.

One side note on the main event: Unless she somehow loses the title this weekend (Sunday’s match against Makoto is NON-TITLE) or vacates it unexpectedly, Fujimoto will return to Japan as the longest-reigning ICEx60 Singles Champion to date. She will pass Kiyoko Ichiki’s record-7 days, 5 months-Monday. Still a way to go to the record for successful defenses though, she needs 4 more to tie Emi Sakura’s record of 10.
