    To me sounded like the typical first day of upsets, of course there’s still a long way to go and anything can and will happen!

    So it has begun… The biggest G1 ever… Here’s my recap of the first day so far:
    Bernard owned Saito;
    Takayama owned Yano (saw that one coming);
    Yujiro owned his former partner (I wanted Naito to win, really);
    “Lance Vance Dance” Archer owned Makabe (a bit of a shocker);
    Nagata owned the champ (although I know that Tana will still finish in the top 3 of his group because he’s the champ);
    Sombra owned Inoue (pretty embarassing for a heavyweight, Wataru!);
    Goto owned Tenzan (hmm…);
    Kojima owned that sleasy, greasy, sneaky bastard (hey, anti-Suzuki insults are a-ok in here) Suzuki (not bad, Koji);
    and the biggest shocker by a long way:
    MVP owned Nakamura (like “The Simpsons” Moe would say, “Whaaaa?”)
    What a unpredictable G1, man, this is going to be one hell of a tournament!
    Oh, and Ibushi still is a genius…
