8/17 Ice Ribbon Results

Ice Ribbon ran their usual Wednesday event today, also the final event before the next Korakuen. Results from the Ice Ribbon School:
They claimed 117 paid (overflow).
International Ribbon Tag Team Champions Emi Sakura & Makoto beat Hikari Minami & Riho in 15:58 to retain the titles. Makoto pinned Riho after a spear. V1 for the champs. Presumably the titles are going to be vacated soon because of Makoto leaving but we’ll have to wait and see.

Kaori Yoneyama beat Neko Nitta in 6:29.

Ray & Mentallo (Independent/Freelancer) beat Ryuichi Sekine & Chii Tomiya in 12:32. Mentallo pinned Tomiya after a moonsault press.

In an Elimination Match, Tsukasa Fujimoto, Hamuko Hoshi & Mochi Miyagi beat Hikaru Shida, Maki Narumiya & Dorami Nagano in 11:05. Order of elimination: Narumiya by Fujimoto at 5:13, Nagano by Miyagi at 7:53, Shida by Fujimoto at 11:05. Clean sweep.

No Saturday event this week although there will be a special Friday “pre-Korakuen meeting” with likely no matches, to be followed by this week’s edition of 19 Pro. Next up is Korakuen on Sunday. The full card (in order):
