Joe Doering

Joe Doering was one of the top gaijin currently in All-Japan, a 6-year veteran who joined the promotion in late 2007. He first visited as an outsider in June 2007 but impressed Keiji Muto enough to become a full-time member of the roster and Muto’s protege. He won the All-Japan World Tag Team Titles with Muto in 2008 before jumping to the Voodoo Murders faction. He  earned his first shot at winning the Triple Crown in January 2010. It turned out to be one of Doering’s last appearances in the promotion, as he has since signed with WWE and changed his ring name to Drake Brewer.
Apparently things with WWE didn’t quite work out as hoped for and Doering returned to All-Japan in late 2010 and is once again making occasional appearances in the promotion.
