KAI

One of the more exciting up-and-comers in All-Japan, KAI is a high-flying Jr. Heavyweight who is part of the latest class of new All-Japan talent along with Hiroshi Yamato and others. His path to All-Japan has virtually mirrored Yamato’s, he entered training in 2006 then an excursion to Mexico in 2007 before returning to Japan in 2008. After joining Satoshi Kojima’s F4 faction his career slowly began to take off and despite no longer getting the “superstar rub” from the now-departed Kojima his rise to the top has only accelerated since F4’s dispersion. He could be poised for a breakout year in 2010 and has become a top contender for the All-Japan World Jr. Heavyweight Championship.
KAI’s defining moment finally came on June 19, 2011 when he beat Shuji Kondo to win the vacant All-Japan World Jr. Heavyweight Championship.
