KAGETORA is a freelancer who has become a regular participant in Dragon Gate in 2009 although he does not appear to be a contracted member of the roster. While he actually began his career in the DG system he moved to Michinoku Pro in 2005 then moved to El Dorado later on, moving up to DG when El Dorado closed at the end of 2008 while still working in other promotions. He first joined Real Hazard but would soon jump ship and join CIMA’s WARRIORS-5 faction. Although he has had success in tag team and trios ranks this year, including an Open The Triangle Gate reign, his image has been tarnished by his involvement in the “Cora Scandal”. His punishment was that because he wasn’t a contracted member of DG, some of his pay would go to animal welfare organizations in Japan. He still remains a regular in DG. Despite having some success and being a mid-carder he’s still a bit more of a jobber than anything else.
KAGETORA suffered a left foot and/or thigh injury during a match on June 9, 2011 and as a result will be inactive as of June 10, 2011. It’s not yet known how long he’ll be out.
