19 Pro Wrestling

19 Pro Wrestling, aka 19 Girls Pro Wrestling, is a new project that is a spinoff of Ice Ribbon. Created in May 2010, the promotion broadcasts at 7 PM Japan time (6 AM ET) 2-3 times a week on Ustream. The focus of the promotion is rookie Sayaka Obihiro, who started out in Ice Ribbon then quit to become the focal point of 19 Pro. Other wrestlers from Ice Ribbon and occasionally other promotions also participate in the promotion, with Ice Ribbon stars Emi Sakura & Makoto serving as referees when not competing. Fellow Ice Ribbon star Chii Tomiya serves as the ring announcer/MC when not competing. Sakura also handles behind-the-scenes work and promoting the project. There’s also an occasional appearance made by Freedoms star GENTARO.

19 Pro has one title as of February 2011, “IW19″/Internet Wrestling 19 aka the 19 o’clock Woman Pro Wrestling Internet Singles Championship. It will be implemented at a future date.
