Riho is a 5-year veteran who was the youngest Japanese pro wrestler ever until the recent debut of fellow Ice Ribbon wrestler Kurumi (a record now perhaps belonging to Stardom wrestler Haruka). Believe it or not, she’s still in grade school-she’s just 14 years old and debuted when she was only 8 years old! Seriously. And she’s already won Ice Ribbon’s tag team title too and was also the first champion when Ice Ribbon introduced a triple threat/3-way match title. She’s one of the youngest members of Ice Ribbon even though she is not the least-experienced, she already has more experience than several of her older counterparts. And she might be the cutest too. She’s also part of a wrestling family of sorts in the promotion, as her big sister Seina also competes in Ice Ribbon.
Riho became a “Triple Crown” champion in Ice Ribbon in April 2010 when she won the ICEx60 Singles Championship for the first time, making her the first wrestler ever to hold all 3 of Ice Ribbon’s championships. And also the youngest major singles titleholder ever. You go, girl!
Riho also debuted a new gimmick/persona, Black Cherry, in summer 2010 during a DDT/Union Pro event. For this persona she wears a black/pink mask over her eyes and part of her face, but her outfit is otherwise the same.
