Kaori Yoneyama

Kaori Yoneyama is a 10-year veteran who has spent her entire career in JWP although she’s competed in other promotions. She primarily competes in tag team action and has 3 JWP Tag Team Championships to date, but also is a former JWP Jr. Champion and reigned for over 2 years before vacating the title. She also was an All-Japan Women singles champion. She’s enjoying another major singles push in late 2009, becoming the 2nd NEO High Speed Champion. She also held the JWP, Daily Sports and International Ribbon Tag Team Titles for a few months with Emi Sakura.
In July 2010 Kaori finally got her big career win, claiming the JWP Openweight Championship for the first time.
In early 2011 Kaori began making appearances in DDT & Ice Ribbon under a new gimmick-Lee Yoneyamakao, a wrestler affiliated with the China-based New Beijing Pro promotion (they semi-regularly co-produce events with DDT).
Also, despite sharing the same last real name, it is not known if she is related to NOAH star Mohammed Yone.
Yoneyama will retire on December 23, 2011.
