Gedo

profile_gedoConsidered by some American fans to be “The Dusty Rhodes Of Japan”, Gedo is a 20-year veteran best known for his very successful tag team with longtime partner Jado. Like Jado, he is a highly decorated Jr. Heavyweight who has experienced almost unmatched success in the tag team ranks.
Gedo started out in New Japan under his real name, debuting on the same date as Jado against Magic Monkey Wakita, the wrestler now known as Super Delfin. Gedo then followed Jado to Mexico, where he competed as “Crush” in the UWA. From there they returned to Japan and began competing in WAR and later FMW, where they began racking up tag team and 6 man titles. During their FMW time, Gedo did one thing that Jado never has-tour the USA. Gedo made some apearances in WCW in 1997, including competing on the “Halloween Havoc” PPV againt Chris Jericho. When he returned to FMW he began teaming regularly with Jado, and they continue to be one of the top Jr. Heavyweight tag teams to this day. He has competed full-time for New Japan since 2001 and makes an occasional appearance elsewhere, usually at independent or special shows.
