Yujiro Takahashi

Half of the NO LIMIT tag team in New Japan with Tetsuya Naito, Yujiro is a 5 year pro who also competed in amateur wrestling before joining the promotion. A high school and collegiate wrestler, he once won the Japanese Greco-Roman Wrestling Student Championship in the 84 kg division, then passed the New Japan enrollment test in late 2003. He debuted in July 2004 in the Jr. Heavyweight division. He missed about 4 months in late 2005 & early 2006 due to injuries, but shortly after his return he was chosen to represent New Japan in the ZERO1 promotion (then Zero-One MAX).
He changed gyms in early 2007 and started to climb the ranks afterwards-he made his first challenge for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship and despite the loss was selected to participate in the 2007 Best Of The Super Junior. After that he formed NO LIMIT with Tetsuya Naito and following an unsuccessful challenge for the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles they would win the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles in late 2008. After dropping the titles at Tokyo Dome in January 2009 he & Naito went on an overseas excursion with Yujiro beginning to appear regularly in TNA Wrestling. He returned to New Japan in January ’10 to re-form NO LIMIT with Naito and win the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles.
Yujiro changed his ring name on March 5, 2010 to his full name, Yujiro Takahashi.
