Bison Smith

Smith2The massive Bison Smith is the top gaijin in NOAH and an 11-year veteran of wrestling. He has competed for NOAH since 2005, working part-time until beginning to work closer to a full-time schedule in 2008, and competes primarily in the tag team ranks. He is one of the biggest wrestlers in NOAH.
Smith worked in various indies until joining IWA in Puerto Rico in 2003, where he won 2 IWA World Heavyweight Championships and an IWA Intercontinental Championship as well as an IWA Hardcore Championship. He debuted in NOAH in May 2005, teaming with his trainers, Michael Modest and Donovan Morgan. He then left the promotion but returned for a few appearances at the end of the year. He returned to the US in 2006 and alternated between indies and IWA until returning to NOAH in late 2007, but his stay was cut short due to an injury. He returned in 2008 and won both the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Championship and Global Tag League with Akitoshi Saito, and held the GHC Tag Team Titles until dropping them in September 2009. Smith also debuted in Ring Of Honor in 2009, making several appearances in the first half of the year between NOAH tours. He remains active in NOAH, competing almost exclusively in tag team competition and is always at or near the top of the tag team ranks and almost always in title contention.
