Cherry is a popular joshi wrestler who alternates between competing against the women as well as the men. She is not the same Cherry who briefly appeared in WWE. Originally starting out in DDT, she spent her first year with the promotion before moving to the small Union Pro promotion in 2005, but with Union Pro now being a sub-brand of DDT she’s technically a DDT talent again. She’s been there since but is very active throughout joshi promotions-these days she most often appears in WAVE. She competes primarily in comedy matches (often dressed up in cute outfits) although she’s a skilled wrestler, and a tough one too-she’s held the DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Championship 7 times as of early September ’09.
