Kagetu

Kagetu (also known as Kagetsu) is currently the youngest and least-experienced member of Sendai Girls, an 18-year-old who has just over 2 years’ experience. She competed in judo before making the switch to wrestling. As the low one on the totem pole who is still learning the ropes, she competes primarily in singles matches, always coming out on the losing end. But such losing and “jobbing” is not permanent and as she gains experience in the ring better days will not be far away for this young Sendai Girl. With Sendai Girls becoming less active in 2009 she began making appearances in other promotions. And her biggest moment to date came in December 2009 in Sendai Girls-after over 1 year she finally got her first career win. While it might not sound like much on paper, it’s the first of hopefully many more for the youngster.
Kagetu previously competed as Yukari Ishino before changing her ring name in January 2010. Her ring name appears to take its origins from symbols of entertainment in Osaka. In May 2010 she also got her first victory over a fellow Sendai Girls member, teaming with Aja Kong to beat Hiren in a tag team match. She makes occasional appearances in JWP and WAVE and also made appearances in NEO until the promotion’s closing.
Kagetu got her true breakthrough win in March 2011, beating stablemate Hiren to win the JWP Jr. Championship & POP Championshp.
