GAMI

GAMI is a 19-year veteran of puroresu and the founder/promoter of WAVE. She competed in almost every major joshi promotion between her debut in 1990 and becoming a freelancer in 2004 before starting WAVE in 2007. She had success as a tag team wrestler in the past, winning various tag team titles in JWP, LLPW and ARSION-she also shares the record for most Twin Star Of ARSION reigns all-time at 4. In addition to running WAVE and helping to handle the many aspects of the promotion, she remains active in the ring to this date and is the oldest active WAVE member at 41. These days she’s a bit more of a comedy wrestler, almost never seen without a pair of her trusty plastic megaphones she carries around and bops the other wrestlers-even her own tag team partners-on the head with them for no other reason than to complain and to make the crowd laugh during matches.
