Chihiro Oikawa

Chihiro Oikawa is one of the few joshi wrestlers who sometimes competes with and against male wrestlers as part of the BattlARTS roster, although she primarily competes in women’s matches. She made her debut in June 2008 against Mariko Yoshida. She also began competing in MMA in early 2009, and as of September 2009 has a 1-2 career record fighting in the Jewels promotion (she lost her debut to Mayumi Aoki then beat Harumi Harumi, a fighter who is winless in her career-12 fights). Her third fight was on September 13, 2009-she lost by 1st round submission to Tomoko Morii. All 3 of her fights, win or lose, have ended by submission via armbar.
Oikawa announced her retirement on June 19, 2010. She announced she was getting married to a fellow pro wrestler and starting a new life.
