Misae Genki

pc_1062Misae Genki is a former joshi wrestler who retired at the end of 2008. She was a 14-year veteran of wrestling who competed for NEO since it’s beginning following 3 years in All-Japan Women. She also competed for other promotions, winning the JWP Tag Team Title as well as 3 NEO Singles Titles, which is the second-most all-time to date.
Genki retired on December 31, 2008 after competing in 3 retirement matches on the 12/31/08 NEO event. She defeated Aya Yuki before losing to Amazing Kong (Awesome Kong) and then to Kyoko Inoue in her final match. She also had a notable match in late 2008 before retiring when she faced All-Japan star Satoshi Kojima in a special singles match.
Genki will be inducted into the NEO Hall Of Fame on May 3, 2010.
