NEO STORM ‘09 has come and gone, results from Itabashi Green Hall:
They claimed 105 paid. Considering they came up with some gimmicks and even discount tickets to get at least a sellout (around 200-225, it’s a small arena), this has to be a big disappointment.

Kyoko Inoue & Hiroyo Matsumoto beat Aya Yuki & Yukari Ishino in 18:06. Inoue pinned Ishino after a lariat.

The result of conference, very because of danger, time was 30 seconds.” I think I once downloaded one of these matches with the slow motion rule. Hilarious.

12/3 All-Japan Results

12/03/2009 dcrage Leave a comment

Now that All-Japan’s totally redone event is now in the books, results from Wakayama Prefectural Gym:
They claimed 1800 paid (sellout).
Masayuki Kono vs. Manabu Soya went to a 15 minute time limit draw.

Minoru & Toshizo beat Masanobu Fuchi & Shuji Kondo in 11:06. Minoru beat Fuchi with a jumping armbreaker.

Riki Choshu & Suwama beat Zodiac & Hiroshi Yamato in 8:36. Suwama pinned Yamato after Last Ride.

Yoshihiro Takayama & NOSAWA Rongai beat TARU & Voodoo Mask in 14:40. Takayama pinned Mask after a kneelift.

Real World Tag League:
Yoshihiro Takayama & NOSAWA Rongai beat TARU & Joe Doering by forfeit.
Keiji Muto & Masakatsu Funaki beat Osamu Nishimura & Seiya Sanada by forfeit.
Akebono & Ryota Hama beat Taiyo Kea & Minoru Suzuki in 16:38. Akebono pinned Kea after a body press.

Keiji Muto & Masakatsu Funaki beat Osamu Nishimura & Kaz Hayashi in 21:41. Muto pinned Hayashi after Shining Wizard.

Updated standings:
Keiji Muto & Masakatsu Funaki [11]
Riki Choshu & Manabu Soya [10]
Suwama & Masayuki Kono [9] *
Satoshi Kojima & Zodiac [8]
Akebono & Ryota Hama [8] *
Taiyo Kea & Minoru Suzuki [8] *
Yoshihiro Takayama & NOSAWA Rongai [6] *
Osamu Nishimura & Seiya Sanada [4]
TARU & Joe Doering [4]
Teams with a * have one match left. If it’s Top 2 advancing, here are the scenarios:
Muto & Funaki advance no matter what. If Suwama & Kono beat the sumos, they advance. The sumos may be out even with a win because they lost to Choshu & Soya. If Kea & Suzuki beat Takayama & NOSAWA, they have a chance because they beat Choshu & Soya.
If it’s Top 4…Muto & Funaki advance no matter what. If Suwama & Kono win, they advance. Choshu & Soya advance no matter what. If both the sumos and Kea & Suzuki win, today’s win may give the tiebreaker and thus the semifinal spot to the sumos.
We’ll see what happens Saturday.
